From the first week of freshman year, I knew I wanted to be a part of making the beautiful magazine I saw across campus. After three years on staff as a writer and then story editor, I found myself leading the publication as the editor-in-chief.

 

Leadership meant more than just management — I sought to share a vision with each photographer, designer, writer, and storyteller as we worked towards our deadlines.

 

I hired and mentored a team of 33 peers, overseeing all stories published on print & digital platforms, crafting a cohesive publication calendar, collaborating weekly with a faculty advisor, and partnering with a local printer to produce a 6,000+ final copies — all during the height of the pandemic.
